The basic idea of the design revolves around presenting Egypt in a new way to the world, focusing on its heritage treasures that shape a better future. flowing lines and mono- chrome colors that symbolize modernism are used in combination with elements of Arab- Islamic architecture such as: geometric ornamentation, shadow and light exchange, high open windows ,
The design aims to focus on a rich period of Egypt's history that is neglected in the presentation of Egypt to the world, especially the Mameluke-Islamic era, whose fascinating monuments fill the heart of old Cairo. at the same frame The exhibition presents traditional crafts and folklore in Egypt. Many of them also face the danger of neglect and extinction. The main idea is about presenting our architecture and traditional crafts to the world and re-articulate their value in supporting the sustainable lifestyle.
The architectural form is based on Zaha Hadid Performing Arts Center in ABU DHABI , I rescaled the form , change the material to use Light Structure in the pavilion and the interior was designed to meet new function .
